Perfect Colors For Redheads

I’m very pleased with the colors and application of the 2 lipsticks ordered. Perfect for my fair redhead’s complexion. I do wish it had more staying power. I found that I had to apply it often because not only did it disappear quickly, it didn’t leave any residual color on my lips. I applied it before I walked into a store and had to reapply 40 minutes later. Also, the top doesn’t stay well on either tube. I keep the lipsticks in a small zipper case in my purse and when I go to use it, the lid is off. I don’t think the tube is defective, it just needs a more snug fit.

Good Pigmentation, a little drying

I pre-ordered the bundle and received it today. The swatches showed good pigment saturation and I was really excited for lipsticks in classic shades developed for red head coloring. The red is on the cooler side and is very flattering, a lovely bold hue. Because of the formula it's not very forgiving gliding on, so you may have to touch up and soften the edges a bit, but it doesn't stain immediately so there's time to adjust. I am really pleased that even with such a bold color payoff, I haven't seen any feathering! It definitely transfers a bit when first applied, but it fades evenly, so if you don't need the bright bold you can stretch the time between reapplying.
The pink and nude colors are pretty close in shade, and while the swatches on my hand were easily differentiated, the difference on my face was more subtle. Perfectly Nude is the warmest color of the three by far, but it doesn't read overly orange like other nudes can on gingers. Between these two, I think I prefer the pink because the nude is so close to my natural lips that it hardly looks like I'm wearing anything, and since I can feel the lipstick, I'd rather it also be evident when you look at me. :)
The feel of the formula is my least favorite part. The finish isn't entirely matte, but the feeling of the lipstick is more like a matte finish. It's not super drying, but it feels a bit dry compared to some other creamier lipsticks I like.
Overall, I will probably buy these again, and if they extend the shade range, I can definitely see myself trying those out, as well.
