I wondered how a "universal shade of red" would work. There is not one shade of red hair (mine is a true red a I have seen it described), so surely that must be so for eyebrows. I just needed something to help fill in my eyebrows, give a bit more definition to the arch. And I was pleasantly surprised. The color is subtle, so does not clash with my eyebrows and looks natural. If I want something more dramatic, I might look elsewhere, but i like the 'no makeup" look and this works perfectly.
